	Final Exam Exemption Card Pick UP Seniors: Pick up Exemption Cards in the cafeteria before school or during lunch on Monday, May 20th or Tuesday, May 21st. Turn in Exemption Cards to your 4th period teacher on Thursday, May 23rd Juniors, Sophomores, Freshmen: Pick up Exemption Cards in the cafeteria before school or during lunch on Wednesday, May 22nd or Thursday, May 23rd Turn in Exemption Cards to your 5th period teacher BEFORE your 1st final on Wednesday, May 29th DO NOT LOSE YOUR CARD—NO CARD = NO EXEMPTIONS Late cards WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!
	BPA Nationals This past week, five students traveled to Orlando to compete at the BPA National Leadership Conference. These young ladies qualified for Nationals by placing at the top of their respective events at the State Leadership Conference held in March. This years National Qualifiers were Brooke Cohen, Amanda Matthews, Samantha Wang, Jessie Wu, and Kelly Zhou. The Administrative Support Team, consisting of Amanda, Samantha, Jessie, and Kelly placed 2nd out of approximately 40 teams. Additionally, Kelly Zhou placed 3rd out of approximately 60 competitors in Database Applications.

	Audio Video Production Film Festival Monday, May 20th in the Auditorium Starts at 7pm. Free. Open to all.
	Swim Team Tryout Info: All CSISD students who are interested in joining the the AMCHS swim team for the 2013-2014 school year, have not already been on the team, and have not already done a tryout with Coach Goodwyn will need to attend a tryout on May 15-17. Tryouts will be take place each day, Wed 5/15, Thurs 5/16, and Fri 5/17 from 4:00 - 5:00 at Adamson Lagoon. Prospective swimmers need to pick one of these three days to show up (not all three) and should show up with a swimsuit and goggles.
	The AMCHS Choirs have 2 performances coming soon: The Vocal Ensemble groups are performing a program of contemporary a cappella songs on May 13 at Grace Bible Church by the AMCHS. A flyer is attached. Can you print several out and helps us to get the word out. The concert is free. On May 21st is ShowTime 2013 at the AMC Theatre. Program begins at 7:00 and will feature all 7 of the performing groups of AMCHS Choral Department and will include performances by some gifted individuals and groups. Free to everyone.
	Yearbook Updates: Online yearbook sales have closed. You can still purchase one of the remaining books for $85. Please bring your payment to the yearbook lab, Room 2166, during all lunches and advocates (11:00-1:00) Books will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.
